전자민원G4C 통합인증(SSO)시스템은 전자민원G4C 통합전자민원창구나 특정 행정기관 인터넷 서비스에 가입한 회원이 한번 로그인으로 타 행정기관의 회원서비스를 제공받을 수 있는 통합인증시스템이다.
이번 구축은 행정자치부 제도혁신팀이 전자민원G4C 장비교체사업을 수행하는 과정에서 BEA의 웹로직 어플리케이션서버 환경으로 개발, 운영하던 기존의 시스템을 제이보스 웹 어플리케이션 서버 환경으로 교체한 것이다. 이로써 행정자치부 제도혁신팀은 운영환경 개선을 통해 더욱 안정적인 민원 서비스를 공급하는 한편 급변하는 IT 기술에 유연하고 신속하게 대응할 수 있게 되었다.
제이보스 엔터프라이즈 미들웨어는 SOA를 위한 오픈소스 솔루션으로 이번 구축에 도입된 웹 어플리케이션 서버 외에도, SK텔레콤의 자회사인 힐리오의 무선데이터포털 시스템에 도입된 업무프로세스관리(BPM)를 비롯해 기업포털, 하이버네이트(Hibernate) 등을 포함하는 통합 제품군이다.
행정자치부는 전국 시군구에 도입되는 성과관리시스템도 제이보스 웹 어플리케이션 서버 환경으로 구축하는 등, 공개 소프트웨어 도입을 통해 시장의 경쟁을 촉진 시키고 하드웨어 및 운영체계에 대한 소비자의 선택권을 확대하는 한편 IT 시스템 구축의 비용 절감에 기여하고 있다.
행정자치부는 “전자민원G4C 장비교체, 공개 소프트웨어 적용 및 다양한 환경에서의 접근환경 구축을 통해 언제 언디서나 어떠한 운영 및 접근환경에서도 이용이 가능한 전자민원G4C 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 환경을 구축하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
레드햇코리아의 김근 대표는 “이번 구축은 공개 소프트웨어의 우수성을 단적으로 보여주는 사례라고 볼 수 있다. 공공 사업 분야에서 공개 소프트웨어의 도입이 늘어나고 있는 추세이며 이러한 움직인 공개 소프트웨어의 확산에 큰 영향을 줄 것으로 기대한다”고 말했다.
한편 레드햇코리아는 LG텔레콤, 일양택배, 한미IT 등에 제이보스 솔루션을 공급하였으며, 특히 공공분야에는 국세청 법령DB구축사업, 도로교통안전관리공단 업무포탈구축사업, 방송작가협회 내부시스템구축사업 등에 도입된 바 있다.
