Red Hat: the customer’s choice on G2 and TrustRadius

Red Hat understands that customer feedback plays a crucial role in guiding technology purchasing decisions. Consequently, peer review vendors such as TrustRadius and G2 have become essential tools for businesses and buyers alike. Buyers benefit from reading authentic customer experiences, ratings and accolades on these trusted peer review sites in order to make the best buying decision for their business. At the same time, the feedback collected from our customers through peer review sites, alongside other channels, contributes significantly to Red Hat’s ongoing effort to enhance its products. Recognition from TrustRadius and G2

Red Hat’s product portfolio continues to garner recognition through the quarterly and bi-annual awards with TrustRadius and G2. 

TrustRadius hosts 2 highly credited awards a year: the Top Rated Awards and the Buyer’s Choice Awards. TrustRadius defines their Top Rated Awards as a way to “highlight B2B technology products based on verified customer feedback.” They note “these awards are grounded in genuine user experiences, ensuring credibility and trustworthiness.” The Buyer’s Choice Awards represent “prestigious recognitions in the B2B technology sector, highlighting products that excel in three critical areas: capabilities, value for price and customer relationships.” Notably, in 2023, 2024 and 2025, Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform and Red Hat Enterprise Linux received both the annual Top Rated Awards and annual Buyer’s Choice Awards from TrustRadius.

G2 releases reports on a quarterly basis to ”rank software products in various categories.” Each report includes several grids, such as:
