Red Hat (NASDAQ:RHAT), leader mondiale nella fornitura di soluzioni open source per l'enterprise, ha scelto Nicholas Van Wyk come Vice President of Operations. In questo nuovo ruolo, Van Wyk avra' il compito di ottimizzare il modello di sottoscrizione di Red Hat e di creare processi di business tesi a supportare al meglio il canale.
Nicholas Van Wyk arriva in Red Hat da EMC, dove aveva guidato l'integrazione delle attivita' di canale di Legato all'interno della strategia software di EMC, in qualita' di Vice President of Worldwide Channel Operations della Combined Software Division. Prima dell'acquisizione di Legato da parte di EMC, Van Wyk era Vice President of Worldwide Sales Operations di Legato.
Nicholas Van Wyk riportera' direttamente a Joanne Rohde, Executive Vice President of Global Operations di Red Hat.
