Notevole successo delle due tappe italiane del Red Hat Value2 Tour

Si sono tenute a Roma il 19 aprile e a Milano il 24 aprile le due tappe italiane del roadshow organizzato da Red Hat e JBoss per presentare le recenti innovazioni in termini di virtualizzazione e architetture SOA basate su software open source.

Milano, 2 maggio 2007 - Si sono tenute a Roma il 19 aprile e a Milano il 24 aprile le due tappe italiane del roadshow organizzato da Red Hat e JBoss per presentare le recenti innovazioni in termini di virtualizzazione e architetture SOA basate su software open source.

Gli incontri hanno riscosso un reale successo presso le aziende interessate a conoscere come aumentare la propria efficienza operativa attraverso i nuovi sviluppi in ambito open source e con la nuova generazione di applicazioni web-enabled, tanto che Red Hat si e' vista costretta a chiudere, con notevole anticipo, le procedure di registrazione agli eventi.

La partecipazione di numerose aziende qualificate, l'interesse dimostrato dai partecipanti e la qualita' degli interventi dei nostri clienti che hanno testimoniato i vantaggi ottenuti attraverso l'architettura JBoss, hanno sicuramente decretato il successo di questa iniziativa. Riteniamo che occasioni di confronto come queste possano ulteriormente aumentare il consenso a favore dell'offerta Red Hat in Italia", ha dichiarato Gianni Anguilletti, Country Sales Manager per l'Italia di Red Hat.

Particolarmente interessanti sono risultati gli interventi di Luca Gioppo, della Direzione Progetti Speciali Open Source del CSI Piemonte, e di Piergiorgio Spagnolatti, della Direzione Sistemi Informativi della Banca Popolare di Sondrio, che hanno evidenziato con dovizia di particolari come le rispettive organizzazioni stiano traendo benefici particolarmente significativi dall'implementazione di applicazioni Red Hat-JBoss, soprattutto in termini di economicita', flessibilita' ed efficienza delle infrastrutture da essi gestite.

Gli eventi sono stati completati da interventi dei rappresentanti di Red Hat Italia: Gianni Anguilletti ha illustrato la struttura ed il modello di business dell'azienda; Giovanni Capone, Service Delivery Manager, e Vito Asta, Senior Sales Engineer Team Leader, hanno presentato le piu' recenti innovazioni in ambito di virtualizzazione integrata, Web 2.0 e di piattaforma open source per SOA.
