(Nasdaq: RHAT), leader mondiale nella fornitura di soluzioni open source, annuncia che INAIL, Istituto Nazionale per l’Assicurazione contro gli Infortuni sul Lavoro, ha scelto Red Hat Enterprise Linux quale piattaforma per la gestione del suo ambiente mission-critical.
INAIL, ente pubblico non economico sottoposto alla vigilanza del Ministero del Lavoro e delle Politiche Sociali italiano che svolge funzioni in materia di infortunistica assicurativa e prevenzione nel mondo del lavoro, ha selezionato Red Hat Enterprise Linux come piattaforma informatica di riferimento in ambito server. La piattaforma di Red Hat si interfaccia con molti sistemi differenti che sono presenti in modo esteso nei sistemi informativi INAIL.

La quasi totalità dei sistemi informativi open di INAIL è basata su piattaforma Red Hat Enterprise Linux, compresi i sistemi di contabilità finanziaria e personale, quelli di datawarehouse, quelli di programmazione bilancio e controllo di gestione e i servizi di portale e document management. In totale sono circa 130 i server basati su tecnologia Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
